The new term "Tag Chasers" has been coined to represent all of the local female Singles Dating Washington DC soldiers for the wrong reasons. As you probably know, military employees make a lot of money. The higher rank a soldier obtains, the more his paycheck goes up. Being married and having kids contributes to his paycheck as well.
Sadly, there are women out there who take advantage of our American Heroes. Tag Chasers are not always out for the money. In many cases, they just want the "rank" associated with being a military wife. Sure, dating a cute guy is one thing, but dating a man in uniform can really make a girl's friends jealous! Craigslist and singles dating websites are the most popular places for a Tag Chaser to prey on single soldiers.
Lonely army men stationed in the area are always looking for a companion to hang out with in their spare time. Because they have little down time, the easiest way for them to meet girls is to post profiles on Singles Dating Washington DC websites and wait for responses. They know that putting the words "military", "army", "soldier", etc on their profiles makes them 1,000 times more likely to get a date. Tag Chasers know this too-- all too well.
Tag Chasers also make profiles for themselves on singles dating sites. Some make it very clear that they are only interested in soldiers, yet some are a little more discreet. Either way, they only respond to men who are clearly in the Army. It's said that a lot of times, these women collect the dog tags of each soldier they sleep with and use them for bragging rights among their social circles.
Thankfully, the word about Tag Chasers is spreading like wildfire! The women who are marrying and having children by soldiers just to collect extra money (and even divorcing and remarrying multiple times, collecting child- and spousal-support from each victim) are being exposed for who they really are. Hopefully the military Singles Dating Washington DC Tag Chasers become aware of what is going on and do not get caught up with these women.
